  • What is the address of the house?
    • 1902 NW Cunard Street (corner Parker Street)
  • What is the square footage of the house?
    • 1450 square feet
  • Can my dog join us at the house?
    • Absolutely! ~ Pacifica House is pet-friendly. Accommodating your dog friends (2 maximum) with a dog basket with towels, treats, plastic bags for refuse, and dog food bowls
  • What time is check-in and check-out?
    • Check-in time is 3 p.m. and check-out time is 11 a.m.
  • Can I check in early or check out late?
    • Generally there can be no early check-ins or late check-outs due to the full 4 hours needed for cleaning between reservations. On occasion, if there are no reservations the same day, we can arrange this.
  • How many cars are allowed at the home?
    • Three cars maximum are allowed at our home.
  • Can we have people over for the day to visit us?
    • You may have friends/family visit as long as the total guests at any time, day or night, does not exceed 8 guests including children and infants.
  • What items are at the house?
    • Pacifica House is fully furnished with all bedding, bath, hot tub and kitchen towels, a “starter” supply of paper products of toilet paper, napkins, and paper towels (guests are responsible for resupplying all paper products), personal soap,  and spa extras of bubble bath, and body lotion.
  • What’s in the kitchen?
    • The Pacifica House kitchen is equipped with all appliances including refrigerator, microwave, ceramic cooktop stove with touch control, coffee maker and grinder, espresso machine, coffee filters, blender, toaster, griddle, programmable crock pot, deep soup pot, hand mixer, and spice rack. In addition, Pacifica House is fully stocked with enough pots, pans, bakeware, and cooking utensils to prepare meals for the maximum occupancy of the home. Also, it is supplied with enough plates, dishes, bowls, coffee cups, drink ware and eating utensils for at least 1-2 meals for the maximum occupancy of the home. Cleaning supplies include: dish soap, cleanser, sponge, dish rags, dish towels and hot pads.
  • What items are provided for children?
    • This house is especially child-friendly, offering a Porta-Crib, stroller, high chair, child’s outdoor picnic table, books, toys, and games.
  • What should we bring with us?
    • We suggest that you bring your personal grooming items such as shampoo/conditioner, grocery items, specialty items, slippers, family favorite entertainment items such as CD’s, DVD’s, books, board games, and Presto-Logs if you would like to enjoy a fire in the fireplace. If a guest is staying 3+ days or has a large group, we also suggest: extra toilet paper.
  • What if I have a problem while at the house?
    • There is a 24/7 property management service phone number on the Guidelines and Map emailed to you upon full payment.
  • Do you have a No Smoking policy?
    • Yes. No smoking is allowed in our home. Smoking is allowed, using the receptacles provided on the decks.
  • Am I allowed to park an RV, camper, etc. at the home?
    • No. Campers, RVs and mobile units are not allowed in our community and may not be parked at the home for additional sleeping space. You may, however, bring your boat.
  • Is firewood provided at the home?
    • No. For safety reasons, only Presto-Logs are allowed to burn in our fireplace. No exceptions.
  • How far is the home from the airport?
    • 3 hours from the Portland Airport
    • 1-1/2 hours from the Corvallis Airport
    • 2 hours from the Eugene Airport
  • Is there a BBQ at the home?
    • Yes. There is a Gas BBQ on the ocean view deck.
  • What is the tax rate applied to my reservation?
    • The lodging tax rate if you rent from an owner (which we are) is just 1.8%. If you rent from a property management company, the tax rate is 10% or higher.
  • How much is my initial payment and when is the final payment due?
    • One-half of the total fees are due upon making the reservation, and the final payment is due 21 days before arrival.
  • What forms of payment do you accept?
    • We accept personal checks, and Visa and Mastercard credit cards.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    • Reservations canceled 61 days or more prior to the scheduled arrival date will receive a full refund of monies paid (minus credit card processing fees). Reservations canceled 31-60 days prior to the scheduled arrival date will receive 1/2 of total monies paid (minus credit card processing fees). Reservations canceled less than 31 days prior to the scheduled arrival date will receive the $100 damage deposit only; no exceptions.
  • How do we gain access to your home?
    • There is a lock box containing 2 sets of keys next to the front door of our home, with the combination to the lock box on the Guidelines which are emailed to you.
  • Is candle-burning allowed at your home?
    • Absolutely no candle, oil lamp, or tiki-torch burning. It is just too risky.
  • Is Netflix offered at the home?
    • This house offers a 50″ Smart TV. If you wish to access Netflix, you will need to utilize your personal account.
  • Is there internet at the home?
    • Yes, there is high speed 30Mbps wireless internet available in every room.
  • Is there a place to cook crab at your home?
    • Yes, we provide a deep soup pot and gas BBQ on the ocean view deck for cooking crab. Please, no cooking of crab inside the house is allowed.
  • Where do you recommend we go for dinner?
    • Please see our “Things to Do” page for restaurant recommendations in addition to our Notebook at Pacifica House.
  • What is the fee to use the Bayshore Beach Club amenities and what are they?
    • The cost to use the Bayshore Beach amenities is: $5/person/day with a “family” rate for 5 guests of $20. The amenities include a heated outdoor pool, fitness center, pool table, Nintendo, Foosball, tennis and badminton (and more) privileges. You will need to present your Paid Invoice and photo ID. This is open to owners and renters only and not to the general public.
  • Are there grocery stores in the area?
    • Yes. Waldport has one grocery store, Ray’s Grocery at 580 NE Broadway which has a nice selection of food including some organic produce, a deli, and Presto-Logs for the fireplace. There are several larger grocery stores in Newport, Oregon which is 15 minutes north of Waldport.
  • Are fireworks allowed?
    • No, Bayshore Estates does NOT allow fireworks anywhere.
  • Are fires allowed on the beach?
    • Yes! Fires are allowed on our beach as long as they are NOT in the sea grass.
  • How far is the nearest hospital?
    • Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital is 15 minutes north of our home in the town of Newport, Oregon. The address is:

  • What happens if I leave something at the home?
    • Lost and Found items are held for 30 days only, and will be returned via COD upon request.
  • What are our responsibilities upon departure?
    • Upon departure, you will be expected to take out the garbage, run the dishwasher, wash/dry 1 load of towels, close and lock all the windows and doors, close all blinds, lock the storm door inside latches, turn the heat OFF in every room, make sure the fire in the fireplace is TOTALLY out and safety doors closed, place the keys back in the lock boxes and leave the home in reasonably clean condition, and have a wonderful trip home!
